Law of Attraction manifesting through gratitude
This is one of the most powerful tools to transform your life. It all begins with trusting the process, and the natural flow of your life. Belief is the fuel that will guide you to the right path in life. But it has to be unwavering belief that you deserve everything you wish for.
Personal Story:
When I was 15 years old, I was going through a very difficult time. Nothing in my life made sense, I had people around me that didn’t care about my well being, I was depressed to the point where it was hard for me to get out of bed in the morning. No one knew I was suffering, I held it within myself to the point where I reached my version of rock bottom. I knew I needed a drastic change, but I had no idea where to seek this help. And so just with sheer luck, a book named Magic came into my life, and it fully transformed my life.
I will be applying some of the practices from this book, as well as some personal practices along the way which allowed me to heal, and see the beauty in life when I thought there was only darkness.
First let me start off by defining the principles of Law of Attraction:
The laws of the universe states that like always attracts like. Whatever energy you put out into the world, you will attract that exact same energy back towards yourself.
Your thoughts dictate your reality, and so if you focus on the negative, and you allow those thoughts to overshadow everything else negative things will naturally appear in your life.
If you focus on the positive, even small things, you will see how you will naturally blossom from within and the universe will reward you with that way of thinking.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in the Magic book is the power of gratitude. When you shift your focus on the positive, your perspective changes towards the world. This practice is most important, whenever you feel down.
- Get yourself a journal specifically for your gratitude practice, and make it a habit. Every morning you wake up, or every night you go to sleep write 5 to 10 things you are grateful for. How you structure the sentence is the important part: I am grateful for ________ because ___________. Once you finish the list read it over out loud and say thank you after each thing. It could be small, like thank you for the food I have on the table, thank you for the roof I have over my head.
- Have any type of stone or rock, which fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. I went to one of my favourite beaches in Vancouver and picked a rock specifically for this gratitude practice. Before going to bed every night, hold it in your palm and say what the best part of your day is.
- Write down, or say out loud daily affirmations which speak out to you. One example which I find very helpful for me is: I relax I let go my life is in perfect flow. OR I don’t chase I attract whatever is meant for me will stay. Make sure, these affirmations are dedicated for you. You speak them into existence with belief that they are all true.
- If you have a relationship which is struggling at the moment, it is usually because you are focusing on the negative qualities of that person. If that is the case, bring a picture of that person, with you, or make it your screensaver. Whenever it catches your eye or attention, think of 2-3 small things, which you enjoy about them. (THIS IS VERY POWERFUL!)
- Do meditations daily, or weekly ones specifically that make you visualize your ideal reality or whatever it is you want to accomplish. Once again be consistent. Mark it in your calendar and never skip it. It can be as much time as you have, but make sure you immerse yourself in this meditation. If you are a beginner and want to start on this journey I suggest you try guided meditations.
- Vision boards!!!! If you are interested I can make a specific blog post about this. However, this is one of the most helpful things I’ve ever done, and so I try to complete one every year. Of all the things I want to accomplish, it doesn’t matter how huge, or small the goals may seem. Everything is possible. And truly, most of the time these things come true. Be mindful, set your intentions.
- I do this every six months or so, write down on a piece of paper 5 things of what you want in your life. It depends how specific you want to be, but for example I write down the month and the year beside each thing I want to accomplish. Then you have to write as if you already achieved this. Write the description of how it makes you feel, what it smells like, what it looks like. Write it as if it is already yours. As detailed as you can. And truly believe it as you are writing it. Once you are done leave it somewhere and completely forget about it. You will see once you get back to the list, months later how many things of those you are already in possession of.
These are some of the practices which I incorporate in my day, you can pick and choose as many as you like.
A few things are important:
– Make sure to do them in an environment where no one can disturb your peace. This is your time. You can even burn some incense for it to feel more powerful, as you are doing these practices.
– Make sure you are doing each of these practices without doubts in your mind, believe in the power of the universe, and believe in the power of yourself. Many times this is easier said than done, however the first principle of believing is to accept your current situation and state of reality, once you do that you trust the universe. You give permission to the universe, to attract opportunities in alignment with your higher self!
Your job is to set the intentions, and not answer how you will achieve this. The universe will do the rest for you.
